David M.
Strauch Sr.
David M.
Strauch Sr. died July 6, 2010, at his home in Hinsdale.
Mr. Strauch, 79, was born March 8, 1931, in Danville, Penn.
He earned his degree at Duke University, where he was a first team
All-American in soccer. He also was a veteran of the U.S.
Army.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Strauch; his children, David
(Dianne) Strauch Jr., Katharine (Bradley) Hipp and Charles
Richard Strauch; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Elizabeth and
Abigail Hipp; and his brother, Richard Strauss.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at
Community Presbyterian Church, 39 N. Prospect Ave.,
Clarendon Hills.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wellness House, 131 N.
County Line Road, Hinsdale, IL 60521.
