New home construction in Hinsdale continued its resurgence in 2014 with 29 percent more building permits issued than in 2013.
The village issued 67 permits for new homes last year, compared to 52 the previous year, marking the fifth straight year of increases.
“It’s been remarkable,” said Robb McGinnis, Hinsdale’s building commissioner and director of community development. “It was a strong year.” read more
